Madi Reid was my primary assistant for the Zakhary-Ryall wedding I coordinated on Saturday, November 19, 2011. The reception was at the Fort Worth Club in Downtown Fort Worth, TX and the expectations of the bride were high. It was important to the bride that every detail was perfectly in order. Madi was like a lifesaver that day, running a hundred different ways during the early part of the day, helping with anything from hauling supplies up and down elevators, helping set up parts of the reception area, to assisting with attending to the needs of the bridal party. She oversaw the final set up of the reception as I coordinated things at the ceremony site and discovered and handled a mistake with the reception seating that would have been a very uncomfortable experience for all involved had she not taken care of things. I had absolutely no worries being away from the club for a few hours, knowing that Madi was there.
Her assistance during the reception was invaluable. Helping coordinate releasing tables for dinner, helping me coordinate the flow of events, working with vendors, and assisting with the needs of all of the guests was a lot of work. She did everything with joy, up to the last item we had to clean up at the end of the event. Her level of professionalism mixed with ease and kindness was amazing, and she wasn’t intimidated at having to handle a lot of details at one time. I would not have been able to pull off an event of that magnitude without her.
