Back in October the sweet love of my life popped the question (see the precious action shot above?) and since that day I’ve been so giddy as I’ve contemplated all the possibilities for our big day.

Now, it is important for y’all to know that I am a young one…not your common love story…but for us it is perfect and you’ll be sure to hear of all the exciting things we experience this next year in this stage of life they call “engagement”.  I will be completing my college degree after two more semesters and so far I have had quite the time balancing classes, one set of final exams, an internship, school involvements and now wedding planning.  I’m not going to lie though… I’ve loved every moment.  Each decision made brings a huge sense of accomplishment and even more excitement for what is ahead.

As an aspiring event/wedding coordinator I know that January 12, 2013 will not only be one of the sweetest celebrations in my lifetime but it will also serve as my greatest portfolio piece.  Please join me as I take this journey, a journey through this crazy checklist of all things to be done before the much-anticipated walk down the aisle to my sweet beau and our life together.
